When you bring your elementary children to R2C2, something AWESOME happens and they don’t want to leave! We promise that this will be the BEST hour of your child’s week. At R2C2, faith and fun go hand-in-hand as children learn to love and serve God.

Every Sunday morning, children in grades K-5 are invited to take part in our awesome ministry called Rocky River Kids. After the worship, children are dismissed into the Sunday School classrooms for approximately 1 hour. All of our classes are taught by one teacher and one assistant.

Children's Programs

We are currently in the Starlight Station series. Welcome aboard the only hotel and resort in orbit around the earth! The Starlight Station staff will do their best to make your stay here out of this world. During your stay you will watch as Sprocket McCracken, the Director of Starlight Station, learns many ways to be a servant leader. You will also be a part of our daily briefings which will walk you through the life of Joseph. Strap in and hold on for an out-of-this-world experience at Starlight Station.

Each week, the children will watch a bible story, learn a memory verse, listen and sing along to uplifting songs, and then participate in Small Group activities, all while learning about Jesus.

Safety & Security

Your child’s safety and security is our top priority. Parents check their children in at our Kid’s Registration table. Each child receives a nametag and parents have a wristband with a corresponding ID number. Children are not permitted to leave Children’s Church until the parent/guardian arrives and wristbands and nametags are matched.

Volunteers

Our Children’s Ministry Team is comprised of a wonderful group of volunteers that truly love your children. We are dedicated to teaching your children about God and helping them grow spiritually. The Way

The Way is a children’s ministry group for grades K-5 that meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 4:30 – 6:00 pm at the church office. This group combines bible stories, crafts and games all centered on the Bible. Last year, the children learned how to become Christians, and how to show that they are Christians by serving others.

Preschool (ages 3-5)

The Preschool ministry at Rocky River is full of fun and wonderful experiences for children to grow in their faith and learn more about God.

Each Sunday, children will engage in worship, a Bible story, learn a memory verse, enjoy fun games and a craft. Lil'k and host, Kai (our Pre-k curriculum), takes them on exciting Bible adventures each week.
